AIM2KEAP along with ENAMEL ART SPACE are pleased to present STONE LOVE by Brooklyn- based artist Kenji Hirata. This exhibition will include new works of acrylic and watercolor on paper and a selection of paintings on canvas.
Kenji’s work is strongly influenced by the concept of dualism: the organic and mechanical, the complex and simple, the textured and graphic, the sky and sea. The motif is particularly moving throughout this new show, as he confronts the ideas of heart/soul vs. machine.
Originally from Nagasaki, Kenji has held solo gallery shows in New York, Germany and Japan, a museum show at Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art and various group shows across the United States
A special preview show with the artist will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 6-8pm.
The opening will be held on Saturday, February 22th, 6-8pm.
