I’m a big fan of Rhi, She is a London-based Canadian solo producer, singer and songwriter. This video is an homage to her music, which never leaves my playlist.
When I heard «How Deep» for the first time I was hooked. The vibes that the music was giving me when I started to plan the shooting were just about everyday life, friendship and personal struggle. So I decided to film with two friends: Simona and Massimo. Simona is a Tattoo artist based in my hometown and Massimo is a Bike courier and so we went around my city filming for a couple of days.
I’m a big fan of the «vintage» look, so I went quite heavy on the film grain and the halation. I really wanted to give an old school look to this project.
