The parallels drawn here today are those to the infamous light brethren of O’Keeffe. From “Oliver Twist” to “Martin Chuzzlewit”; each parody is un-tempered to “Child’s History of England”. It was the pronounced Victorian era that; also brought light. O’Keeffe’s Light was far greater.
