This picture from the Fall of 1980 shows the three girls competing for the title of First Assembly Academy Homecoming Queen. Pictured are Marilyn Bilbo, Jenifer Friess and July Mora. Each year, the school held various homecoming activites leading up to the big game. Students would be able to dress up to show their school spirit the week prior to the big game. A giant pep rally was always held, and students and faculty members would decorate their cars for a tailgate prosession down New Orleans’ City Park Avenue to the big game at Pan-American stadium.
