Just a few years ago, children in La Chuscada went to school under a plastic tarp. This Monday, these same children will start the 2019 school year in a state of the art elementary school unlike any other school in Nicaragua. With creative spaces and new teaching methods, this school will serve as a model for what education can be in rural communities.
